* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 20 inches.
* WHERE...Susitna Valley from the Talkeetna cutoff north and west. Highest snow accumulations expected over the Denali State Park area.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to 3 PM AKST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to continuous snow north of Talkeetna. For areas south of and including Talkeetna, warm southerly wind will move into the Valley late Monday, transitioning precipitation type from snow to rain. Rain falling onto snow covered roadways may create additional travel hazards.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest snow accumulations expected over the Denali State Park Area, with 12 to 20 inches expected. Accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are expected outside of the state park boundaries from the Talkeetna Cutoff north and west. The transition from snow to rain is expected to occur Monday night around Willow and between 11 am and 2pm Tuesday for the Talkeetna area.
