*Locations affected:Accumulating snowfall is forecast for areas northwest of I-95, with the highest storm total amounts of 4" or greater occurring near and north of I-78. The heaviest rainfall and thus greatest potential for localized minor flooding will be near and southeast of I-95 in New Jersey. The strongest winds are forecast to occur along the Atlantic coasts of New Jersey and Delaware.
*Timing:Precipitation will begin after daybreak Wednesday morning or early afternoon and will end overnight Wednesday night. Snow northwest of I-95 will change to all rain by late afternoon or evening. The heaviest rain will occur Wednesday evening. The strongest winds will occur Wednesday evening and overnight.
*Impacts:The accumulating snowfall may impact the Wednesday evening commute. Locally heavy rainfall may lead to areas of minor flooding. Windy conditions near the coast may result in downed trees or power outages.
