January 20, 2023:

• Officer Fugate and Sergeant Mosier assisted Circuit Court Probation with a residence search in the 700 block of West Washington Avenue.
• Officer Baker was dispatched to the 400 block of West Monroe Street for a domestic situation. Officers were unable to make contact with the 59-year-old male suspect.
• Officer Brooks responded to the 500 block of Third Street to assist Calhoun County with a personal welfare check. Officer Brooks was able to determine the subject was currently in another state.
• Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
• Officer Justice and Officer Reasoner were dispatched to the 900 block of West Michigan Avenue for a breaking and entering report. A 32-year-old male was arrested for 2^nd degree home invasion; receiving and concealing stolen property; and parole violation.
• Officer Erwin responded to the 2300 block of Brooklyn Road to serve subpoenas with a deputy from JSO. A 23-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop near West Washington Avenue and South Blackstone Street. The 28-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 1^st offense.

• Officer Baker was dispatched to the 200 block of East Franklin Street for a domestic dispute. JCYC would not lodge the 16-year-old female suspect who is currently on probation. Domestic assault charges will be requested on the 16-year-old.
• Officer Davis responded to an overdose in the 1400 block of Teneyck Street. A 35-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
• Officer Thoresen conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Mechanic Street and East Morrell Street. The 34-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Sergeant Stanton and Detective Tinklepaugh conducted a traffic stop at South Cooper Street and East Washington Avenue. Charges will be requested on a 25-year-old male for possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.
• Officers responded to the 100 block of East Wesley Street for a domestic situation. A 51-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Reasoner conducted a traffic stop near South Mechanic Street and East Wilkins Street. A 29-year-old female was arrested for resisting and obstructing.
• Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Moorman Drive for an assault. A 32-year-old female was arrested for felonious assault, and multiple outstanding warrants.

• Officer Baker was dispatched to the 100 block of West Mason Street for disorderly subjects. A 24-year-old male was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.
• Officer Rose responded to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a domestic assault report. The 48-year-old male suspect was unable to be located.
• Officer Panther made contact with a suspect from a recent property destruction report near East Michigan Avenue and South East Avenue. The 24-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation; resisting and obstructing; and assaulting a police officer.
• Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Jonquil Court for shots fired. Spent casings were located on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
