Activity for January 23, 2023
- Sergeant Rose conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 51-year-old female was transported to the hospital by Officer Elston.
- Officer Elston was dispatched to the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a personal welfare check. A 33-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officers responded to 400 block of East North Street for a stolen vehicle driving in the area. Officer Elston initiated a traffic stop, and both occupants fled on foot. The 47-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will also be sought on the male for possession of stolen property, and resisting and obstructing. The 37-year-old female passenger was transported to court on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Goble was dispatched to the 200 block of North Cooper Street for a fraud report.
- Officer Morse responded to the 200 block of West North Street for a domestic dispute. A 32-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Dwight Street for shots fired. Spent shell casings were located on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Justice responded to the 1200 block of Heather Lane for a domestic dispute. A 41-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
