* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Wednesday to 7 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow, heavy at times Wednesday afternoon and evening transitions to a mix of freezing rain, sleet and drizzle Wednesday night. The mixed precipitation then changes back to lake effect snow showers around daybreak Thursday, continuing through the day. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times will be possible.
