National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Gibson and surrounding counties until noon on Wednesday, January 25,2023. At this time, Central Dispatch is receiving calls reporting slide offs and accidents being caused by snow beginning to accumulate on roadways. Please stay off the roads at this time unless absolutely necessary. If you must travel, give yourself extra time to drive slower and give extra distance for braking. Having a warm blanket along with water and a snack is good practice in case of a breakdown in winter weather.
