DETAILS:  On January 24, 2023 at 5:43 pm, the Communications Center detailed Patrol & Traffic Units and  WWDFES to the intersection of Penn-Lyle Road at Canoe Brook Drive on a report of a Serious Motor Vehicle Collision involving  a Pedestrian.  Upon their arrival, WWDFES attended to the Pedestrian who sustained a serious head injury.  The following was initially determined:  Vehicle #1 was traveling southbound on Penn-Lyle Road and approaching the Canoe Brook Drive intersection.  The Pedestrian was walking east to west in the southern crosswalk of the intersection.  Vehicle #1 struck the Pedestrian.  

     WWDFES transported the Pedestrian to Capital Health Regional Medical Center  Fuld where they were listed in Critical but Stable Condition.  The intersection was closed for just under (2) hours for the investigation, which is continuing.  If anyone has any pertinent information into this collision, please contact Traffic Officer Sabatino at [email protected], (609)  799-1222, or the Anonymous Tipline at (609) 799-0452.
