OPTUMSERVE MOBILE TESTING SITES CLOSING IN SAN BENITO COUNTY
San Benito County, CA.- Effective February 5, 2023, the California Department of Public Health is closing the OptumServe Mobile Testing Sites throughout the state due to declining COVID-19 rates and a decrease in utilization, including the five mobile testing sites in San Benito County.
The following sites will no longer be available as of February 5, 2023:
Brigantino Park at 2073 San Juan Hollister Road, Hollister
San Juan School Soccer Field at 100 Nyland Drive, San Juan Bautista
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7290 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos
COVID-19 testing and treatment services through OptumServe in San Benito County continue to be available at no cost at:
930 Sunset Drive, Suite 3, Hollister
Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday

To order at-home test kits, visit https://www.covid.gov/tests or call 1-800-232-0233. Additionally, Medicare & Medi-Cal allow pickup of free test kits at pharmacies, and private health insurance covers 8 at home tests per month per covered member.
Free COVID-19 treatment is available for individuals 12+ years old and is highly recommended to high-risk individuals in order to prevent severe illness or hospitalization. If you test positive for COVID-19, talk to your health care provider right away to learn if you should get treatment or call the California COVID Hotline at 1-833-422-4255, or visit the https://covid19.ca.gov/treatment/ website to find free treatment. California residents who are uninsured, do not have a healthcare provider or unable to get in touch with their doctor within 24 hours can access free treatment via telehealth with Sesame Care https://sesamecare.com/covidca.
