The Oakland Police Department (OPD) was notified by the Alameda County Coroner's Office that the cause of death for Kazuhiro David Sakurai, was “Complications of Gunshot Wound.”
Sakurai was shot at the King Estates school campus on September 28, 2022.
He died on November 17, 2022.
