On Monday, January 23, 2023, at approximately 1430 hours, the Readington Police Department stopped a vehicle on Summer Rd. near Hixson Rd. The vehicle was operated by Eugene Diana (37) from Stroudsburg, Pa. During the motor vehicle stop, it was discovered that Diana had two outstanding arrest warrants out of North Warren Court. Diana was arrested and later released on his own recognizance, pending a future court appearance.  Diana was also issued three summonses: driving while suspended, expired drivers’ license and failure to produce drivers’ license.   The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
