1. Carjacking (1830) 300 Block of North El Dorado Street, Civic District
The male victim, 46, was giving the suspect a ride in his vehicle. The suspect and victim got into a verbal argument, and the victim pulled over in the parking lot of the call location. After stopping, the suspect brandished a weapon at the victim. The suspect then got into the driver’s seat of the victim’s vehicle and fled the area. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Traffic Fatality (2220) 700 Block of South Lincoln Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a pedestrian in the roadway. It was determined the adult male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, though he later succumbed to his injuries.
