IMPD Hit and Run Detectives Seek Community Assistance in Hit and Run Investigation
On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, IMPD Downtown District officers responded to the 300 block of W. Michigan Street on a report of a pedestrian struck. Officers arrived and located a male with injuries consistent with trauma. Further investigation revealed the male had been struck by a vehicle. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
IMPD Hit & Run detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. IMPD is looking for a 5th Generation, 2010-2013 Chevy Camaro. It is blue ray metallic but appears navy blue or black with distinctive LED headlights with a high-intensity blue cast. It will have minor low front driver side damage.
