INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

VICTIM: Male Adult Hispanic (30 Years Old)
On Thursday, January 26, 2023, at about 7:28 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to area of East First Street and San Lorenzo Street in reference to an injury traffic collision. Responding officers discovered a SUV collided with a bicyclist on East First Street east of San Lorenzo Street. When emergency personnel arrived on the scene, they located an adult male bicyclist down in lanes of traffic. LA County Fire Department arrived on scene however, the adult male bicyclist had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the bicyclist is still unknown. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The driver of vehicle was not intoxicated.
