Police Request Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the below-pictured suspect in connection with a theft at a local gym on January 25, 2023.
Police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 12 a.m. at Method Climbing Gym, located on Lombardy Street. The suspect, a thin-built Black male, was captured on surveillance video taking the victim’s Samsung Tablet from the main desk. He was wearing a black jacket, and black pants and he was carrying a blue and white book bag.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the suspect to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695- 8477).
