Night Railroad Work 
Union Pacific has been working during the night to replace railroad ties along their track. They are expected to be in Jefferson this evening. The work will result in crossing signal arms being taken out of service. Traffic control flaggers will be in place and will only stop public traffic when RR equipment needs to cross.
The estimated schedule provided by UP is below:
Dates of work through Jefferson: 1/27 – 1/31; 4PM – 1AM
There will be NO road closures during this time and delays are not expected; just flaggers on site to keep traffic moving through safely while RR crossing arms are disabled.
