INCIDENT: Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Minor Under 14-Years-Old

SUSPECT(S): Anthony Garcia, 26-year-old resident of South Gate, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On January 27, 2023, deputies responded to a report of a minor under the age of 14 that was sexually assaulted. Deputies conducted an investigation and determined the victim was sexually assaulted by Anthony Garcia.
Garcia was believed to be at his residence in South Gate, CA. Deputies authored an arrest warrant and notified South Gate Police Department. Officers with the South Gate Police Department contacted and arrested Garcia shortly after. Big Bear deputies met with South Gate officers and took custody of Garcia.
Garcia was booked into custody at the West Valley Detention Center. Garcia is currently being held on $150,000 bail. Garcia is scheduled to appear on January 31, 2023, in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
