Press Release 2301-1958 
On January 28, 2023, at 1317 hours, Officers responded to the 4400 Block of Shellmound St for a report of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian. The victim was treated for injuries by ALCO Fire and transported to the hospital. The victim was listed as in critical but stable condition at the hospital with major injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old male out of San Francisco, fled on foot and was apprehended a few blocks away. The driver was positively identified by witnesses and arrested for felony DUI, fleeing the scene of a collision, and gun possession.
