...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Several rounds of wintry precipitation are likely across West Central Texas. The first round will develop late tonight and continue through Monday morning. This will mainly fall as a light freezing rain across the Concho Valley, Big Country, and Heartland. A second round of heavier and more widespread wintry precipitation expected to develop Monday Night and continue into Wednesday morning, as freezing rain and sleet overspread much of the area.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Texas mainly north of a San Angelo to Brady line Monday morning and then across all of the area Monday Night into Wednesday.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 3 AM to noon CST Monday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Icy spots are possible Monday morning, especially across bridges and overpasses. The primary concerns will occur with the heavier and more widespread precipitation developing late Monday night into Wednesday. More significant impacts from the freezing rain and sleet are possible, with accumulations on roadways, trees, and power lines possible.
