For the second day in a row an organized retail theft crew has been caught after stealing from Simi Valley businesses.  On January 29th, at approximately 4pm, an employee from the CVS at 591 Country Club Dr reported that three subjects just took over $1000 worth of cosmetics.  The employee provided a description of the vehicle and a plate.

Knowing that organized retail theft crews often steal from multiple locations, an officer extra patrolled other local CVS stores.  The officer located the suspect vehicle at the CVS at 2825 Cochran St.  An enforcement stop was conducted and three suspects were apprehended.  Over $3000 worth of suspected stolen merchandise was located.

Imani Windom (21 years old), Janoah Grier (21 years old) both from Lakewood, CA and Randall Williams (36 years old) from Norwalk, CA were all arrested for conspiracy, organized retail theft, and grand theft.

The fast reporting of the CVS employee and proactive work of our SVPD officer help stop yet another crew from getting away with thousands of dollars of stolen merchandise.
