Activity for January 27-29, 2023:
January 27, 2023:

• Officers visited multiple schools throughout the day.
• Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and Summit Avenue. The 49-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 1^st offense.
• Officer Morse was dispatched to the 800 block of First Street for a domestic dispute. The 57-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and was unable to be located.
• Sergeant Burkart made contact with a subject at North Perrine Street and Homewild Avenue. A 44-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant, and multiple misdemeanor warrants.
• Officers conducted several liquor inspections downtown.

• Officer Morgan responded to North Elm Avenue and East Michigan Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 34-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officer Allison was dispatched to the 300 block of West Morrell Street for a domestic dispute. A 42-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Officers responded to South Pleasant Street and Chapin Street for shots fired. A 17-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for resisting and obstructing. An 18-year-old male was also arrested for resisting and obstructing. Two firearms were recovered, and are being sent to the lab for DNA testing.
• Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 400 block of North Pleasant Street for a PPO violation. A 42-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, and PPO violation.
• Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at South West Avenue and West Franklin Street. The 34-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, 1^st offense.
• Officers responded to the area of Woodbridge Street and Greenwood Avenue for shots fired. A short vehicle pursuit took place, and a firearm was located in the area. A 19-year-old male admitted to possessing the firearm, and shooting it. No damage or injuries were reported. The 19-year-old-male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting and obstructing.  

• Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of West High Street. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officers responded to the 200 block of East Biddle Street for subjects in the area who were possibly carrying weapons. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the subjects.
• Officer Goings was dispatched to the 1400 block of Homewild Avenue for a domestic situation. A 36-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Quarry Street. A 22-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, and domestic assault.
• Officers responded to the 600 block of Saint Clair Avenue for a domestic situation. A 23-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officer Thoresen made contact with a subject in the 1500 block of Pringle Avenue. A 36-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, and a misdemeanor warrant.
• Officer Simon assisted a Blackman Township PSO with a traffic stop near North Elm Avenue and Floral Avenue.
• Officers responded to Detroit Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a personal welfare check. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
