Wilmington Police arrest juvenile on gun charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a juvenile on gun charges.
On January 27 at approximately 3:43 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit were in the 1000 block of Wright Street when they observed a 17-year-old juvenile acting in a suspicious manner. When police attempted to make contact with him, he fled on foot. Police were able to quickly take him into custody without incident. Police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun that was reported stolen.
The 17-year-old was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited ( 2 counts )
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
