Wilmington Police have arrested two on gun charges following an investigation.
 
On January 28 at approximately 6:58 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task force conducted a vehicle stop in the 200 block of East 4th Street. Officers recovered three 9mm handguns, ammunition and 11 grams of marijuana. Police took 33-year-old Amanda Ricks, of Newark, and 21-year-old Brandon Williams into custody without incident.
 
Ricks has been charged with the following offenses in addition to a motor vehicle violation:

• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon – Three Counts
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
• Possession of Marijuana

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released after posting $30,200 secured bail.
 
Williams, who was wanted on an unrelated matter, was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana.
