On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 7:05am, officers were sent to 3411 I40W at the Extend a Suites on a robbery. The victim was an employee of the hotel and was assaulted by the suspect. The suspect also threatened the employee with a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the hotel and left the scene on foot. The victim employee was treated for minor injuries at the scene. This case will be investigated by the Violent Crimes Unit.
