***Final Update Regarding the Crescenta Valley High School Lockdown***
As of 3 PM, Crescenta Valley High School had been cleared by Deputy personnel and canines. All students and staff had been released. No suspects, weapons, or devices had been located on campus.
At approximately 3:20 PM, a Deputy from Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station located a person matching the description of the suspect in a business near the 3500 block of Foothill Blvd, Glendale. The person was detained pending a field show-up. A staff member, who had seen the suspect, came to the location and positively identified the person as the suspect. A search of the suspect and his property did not reveal any weapons or devices. The suspect was arrested for trespassing and booked at Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station. We have not yet established a motive for the suspect to enter the school. The case is still an active investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
