UPDATE: 17-year-old Male Juvenile Arrested for Murder and Attempted Murder in Muscoy

UPDATE: Through continued investigation, homicide detectives identified the suspect as a male juvenile from Muscoy. On Thursday, February 2, 2023, deputies from the Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division (SWAT) located the suspect at a residence in Muscoy and took him into custody. The suspect was booked in at the San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall.

SUMMARY: On Saturday, January 28, 2023, Central Station deputies responded to reports that two private security guards were shot at a party in the 3500 block of Gray Street, in Muscoy. Deputies located the two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the victims, Howard Gabrelle Anderson Jr., was later pronounced deceased.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, responded and are conducting the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is continuing. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
