An informational community workshop will be held :
Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Winter Springs Senior Center (400 N. Edgemon Ave) beginning at 6 PM.
This workshop is open to any resident interested in getting more information on the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
Homeowners that experienced flooding of their homes during Hurricane Ian (September 2022) are encouraged to attend and learn more about possible funding from the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) for flood mitigation projects that include either:
- Elevation of flood Prone Homes
- Acquisition and demolition of flood-prone homes
