Rockford Double Homicide Suspect in Custody

On February 01, 2023, the Janesville Police Department received information, about a suspect of a double homicide in Rockford, being in Janesville.  On February 02, 2023, several places associated with Shyron Henderson were identified.  Covert surveillance was conducted, and officers positively identified the suspect.  Surveillance continued until Shyron Henderson got into a vehicle alone.  His vehicle was blocked in by a marked police car and several officers conducted a high-risk stop.  Shyron Henderson was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Rockford detectives for interviews.
 
Shyron Henderson was being at the Rock County Jail until he is extradited to Illinois.

Charges: Through Winnebago County, IL
Warrant Failure to appear armed violent assault
Warrant Murder with intent to kill or injure
