Burglary Arrest 
On October 23rd, 2022, Simi Valley Police Department Officers responded to a Burglary Investigation at Race Prep Hobbies located in the 1700 block Los Angeles Avenue.
Upon arrival, Officers located the glass front door to the business had been smashed. Officers collected evidence and documented the incident. In summary approximately $7,500 worth of merchandise was taken and $1,700 dollars worth of damage was done to the business.
Utilizing the information obtained from Patrol Officers, Detectives obtained the case and followed up on workable leads. Shortly thereafter, Detectives identified and located a suspect.
In late January 2023, Detectives and Patrol Officers, traveled to Long Beach and arrested Suspect-James Murray, a 58 year old Long Beach resident for a violation of 459 PC/Burglary. Murray was booked into Ventura County Main Jail.
