Officers responded to an area business on a reported trespassing. The suspect was asked to leave and refused. The suspect resisted officers and had to be restrained. ARRESTED: Marcus Ellinwood, 38, for trespassing and resisting arrest.
2. Armed Robbery (1803) 2200 East Fremont Street, Park District
The male victim, 62, was working in an area business when the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. The suspect fled with the property. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Arson Arrest (2305) Jamestown Street / El Dorado Street, Lakeview District
Officers were in the area and observed a city tree fully engulfed in flames. Citizens nearby identified the suspect responsible for the arson and he was taken into custody without incident. Stockton Fire extinguished the blaze. ARRESTED: Alfred Vaughn, 33, transient, for arson.
4. Robbery Arrest (2306) 400 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 24, was working inside a business when the suspect entered and displayed a firearm. The suspect robbed the business and fled on foot. Responding officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody. ARRESTED: Casey Jenkins, 28, for robbery.
