Details: On Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:41 AM, Corcoran Police responded to the N&M Market for a report of a robbery. An employee at the store reported a male in his twenties wearing a yellow reflective jacket and gray sweatpants, entered the store and brandished a firearm before demanding money. The subject fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Corcoran Police Detectives at (559) 992-5151. UPDATE: Through further investigation Corcoran Police Detectives learned about an additional robbery that took place in the City of Delano. The subject arrested was identified as Deven Jones. Corcoran Detectives were able to identify him as the suspect in the robbery in Corcoran. An arrest warrant was authored and signed by a judge for Deven being in violation of California Penal Code Section 211- Robbery. Deven is currently in custody at the Kern County Jail and will be transported to Kings County after Kern County’s court cases conclude.
