Duarte Public Safety received call about active shooter at local high schools - no shooter and no threat identified 
At approximately 9:45 AM, Duarte Public Safety received a call about an active shooter threat in the area of Duarte High School and CS-Arts- SGV. L.A. County deputies immediately responded to the call, placing both high schools on lockdown and investigating the scene. No active shooter or threat were identified. Schools in the area have been receiving a series of these "prank" calls for the last two weeks.
