School Shooter Reports Found to be False After Quick Response by Law Enforcement

INCIDENT: False Reports of Shots Fired
LOCATION: San Andreas High School, San Bernardino
Alta Loma High School, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
SUMMARY: This morning, Sheriff’s Dispatch received calls reporting an active shooter at Alta Loma High School in Rancho Cucamonga and San Andreas High School in San Bernardino. Deputies from our Rancho Cucamonga Station and Highland Station, as well as officers from San Bernardino Police and San Bernardino City Unified Police, immediately responded to their respective schools. Both schools were secured, and a thorough search was conducted. All staff and students were safe, and the reports were determined to be false.
