Pre-applications are now being accepted for Legacy Square - a new affordable apartment community located at 301 E. Santa Ana Blvd. The wait list opened Monday, Feb. 6, and will remain open until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. Applications should be submitted online via the application portal on National CORE’s website.
 
The project, which is supported by the City of Santa Ana, is a multifamily community that offers 93 high-quality apartment homes – 30 one-bedrooms, 39 two-bedrooms and 24 three-bedrooms, with 33 apartment homes reserved as permanent supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
 
To qualify, individuals and families must have household incomes below 60% of the area median income (AMI), which is $65,040 for a 2-person household. There will be a local preference for Santa Ana residents, but anyone can apply.
