* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Faulkner County in central Arkansas... Northern Pope County in central Arkansas... White County in central Arkansas... Cleburne County in north central Arkansas... Independence County in north central Arkansas... Southern Stone County in north central Arkansas... Van Buren County in north central Arkansas... Northern Johnson County in western Arkansas...

* Until 620 PM CST.

* At 1222 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cabot, Searcy, Batesville, Heber Springs, Mountain View, Clinton, Fairfield Bay, Beebe, Vilonia, Bald Knob, Judsonia, Kensett, Newark, Greers Ferry, Quitman, Higginson, Pangburn, Rose Bud, Cushman and Damascus.
