INCIDENT: Grand Theft of a Firearm, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Convicted Juvenile Possessing a Firearm, Prohibited from Owning Ammunition
LOCATION: 14000 Block of Luna Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Robert Belisle, 27-year-old Male Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): 34-year-old Male Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Friday, February 3, 2023, at approximately 9:57 a.m., Deputy Barajas from the Victorville Police Department was dispatched for a report of a firearm, tablet, and earbuds stolen out of a vehicle during the night. The earbuds had a location tracking service and showed at a residence on the 13000 block of Aster Road in Victorville.
The Victorville Police Department’s SMASH Unit assisted with serving the search warrant at the Aster Road residence and located the suspect, Robert Belisle, with the firearm in his possession. The earbuds and tablet were also recovered.
Belisle was arrested and remains in custody on charges of felony grand theft of a firearm, felony carrying a loaded firearm, felony convicted juvenile possessing a firearm, and felon prohibited from owning ammunition with bail set at $110,000. In addition, he has a no bail hold for an outstanding felony warrant.
