Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Carrying a Loaded Firearm

LOCATION: Intersection of Burning Tree Drive and Pebble Beach Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Cameron Cross, 28-Year-Old Male Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at approximately 1:18 p.m., Deputy Leon from the Victorville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. The vehicle was towed due to the registration expired over six months and the driver was cited. The passenger, Cameron Cross was carrying a loaded un-serialized handgun. Cross was booked into custody for felony carrying a loaded handgun: not the owner. He has since posted bail and was released from custody.
