On February 3, 2023, The Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement and Directed Enforcement Units hosted a community outreach event in the Conejo Creek Condominiums in the Newbury Park area of Thousand Oaks. Deputies and the community discussed working together to combat crime with the overall goal of keeping our community safe, keeping our youth safe at schools and avoiding dangers such as gangs and illegal narcotics. Food and a live DJ were on hand for all in attendance to enjoy. The Thousand Oaks Police Department is dedicated to connecting with and protecting our community, and we look forward to having similar discussions in the future. We value our community’s continued support and partnership in deterring crime. If you see or hear suspicious activity, please report this information to the Thousand Oaks Police Department by calling 911, or our non-emergency line (805) 654-9511. Oftentimes, cases are solved when an observant resident calls dispatch immediately when something doesn’t seem quite right.
