McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Recognizes Retired County Employee 
It was an honor to recognize Cheryl Mitchell this week as she was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by Sheriff Ricky T. Buchanan from the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office.
Cheryl retired as the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners in August of 2022 and will be greatly missed.
“I would like to thank Cheryl for her service to our county. In particular, what she has done to assist the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office over the years.” states Sheriff Buchanan.
