Good Evening, this is the Belmar Police Department with an important announcement.
This Saturday February 11^th, the Cupid’s Chase 5K will be held out of Bar Anticipation on 16^th Avenue at 10:00am.  At the start of the race, 16^th Ave will be shut down from B Street to Railroad Avenue until all runners have turned onto B Street.  The race will continue down B Street, to 19^th Ave then to Snyder Avenue.  Once on Snyder Avenue, runners will continue to North Blvd. around the lake and back to Main Street then north through Lake Como.
Road closure will begin at 9:30am and the route will remain closed until the end of the race.  Please expect some delays during the hours of the race.  17^th and Main St and 18^th and Main will remain open on the east side of Main Street in Lake Como for vehicles to travel north.
