Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Jhanny Victoria Baez De La Cruz, 13, who was reported missing on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Jhanny was last seen at 11 p.m. in the 100 block of South Street on February 9, 2023. She is described as 5’1” tall and 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing a black dress and black jacket. Jhanny Victoria is a frequent runaway and may be traveling to the Bronx, New York. 

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jhanny Victoria Baez De La Cruz to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
