Shots Fired Incident
On 02-11-23 at approximately 9:31pm Rock County Communications received several calls of shots fired in the area of W. Memorial Dr. and N Grant Ave. Janesville Police Officers arrived on scene and located several shell casings in the street and a vehicle struck by gunfire in the 1100 blk of N Grant Ave.
No injuries have been reported at this time. This is an ongoing investigation at this time, we will release further details on 02-13-23. There is no ongoing threat to the community.
***If any Janesville resident who lives in and around the area of W. Memorial Dr. and N. Grant Ave could check home security cameras/footage from 9:15pm to 9:45pm on 02-11-23 and report it to the Janesville Police Department (608-755-3100) or Rock County Communications (608-757-2244) to assist in the investigation.
