Winter Storm Warning until 06:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 14 inches with locally higher amounts. Lesser amounts below 6000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Paradox Valley/Lower Dolores River, Four Corners/Upper Dolores River, Animas River Basin and San Juan River Basin.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 6 PM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility, especially in open areas. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
