Diamond Bar, Calif. – On 02-10-23, three suspects where arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs while driving. One suspected was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license and two suspects where issued citations for driving without a license.
The DUI checkpoint was held on Diamond Bar Boulevard near the intersection of Highland Valley Road between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints are to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads.
Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
