The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon.
* WINDS...North wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...From 15 to 20 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any wildfires that develop could be difficult to control and will likely spread rapidly.
* AFFECTED AREAS: VAL VERDE ... EDWARDS ... REAL ... KINNEY ... UVALDE ... MEDINA ... MAVERICK ... ZAVALA ... FRIO ... ATASCOSA ... DIMMIT
