PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, February 15th, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of Read Street from Franklin Road to Park Avenue, moving north to the Arcadia Road and Rhinecliffe Road area, then moving south into the neighborhood of Irving Avenue.

Please note residents in the area of Read Street, Franklin Road, Kennedy Terrace, Argyle Road, Sherman Road, Saint Michael's Avenue, Maria Avenue, King Street, Chateau Drive, Fawn Road, Butternut Road, Dwelly Road, Hazelhurst Road, Ferncroft Road, Hillcrest Road, Cross Road, Daniel Road, Arcadia Road, Williams Road, Rhinecliffe Road, Park Avenue, Pleasant View Avenue, Travers Street, Alfred Street, Antrim Street, Locust Street, Mason Avenue, Winslow Avenue, Alberta Avenue, Seaver Avenue, Ivanhoe Avenue, and Irving Avenue could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
