Flood Advisory until 12:15AM Thursday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi and West Tennessee, including the following counties, in North Mississippi, Benton, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate and Tippah. In West Tennessee, Fayette and Hardeman.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1009 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Holly Springs, Batesville, Wall Doxey State Park, John W Kyle State Park, Lamar, Sardis, Como, Snow Lake Shores, Red Banks, Marianna, Slayden, Laws Hill, Michigan City, Harmontown, Canaan, Lagrange, Barr, Walnut, Middleton and Ashland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
