Full Notification

The City of Belleville was informed of a Norfolk Southern Railroad train derailment in the area of Martinsville Rd. in Van Buren Twp. The train and its cars are blocking Haggerty and Huron River Dr. and the area should be avoided. The track crossing located at Martinsville Rd., although currently closed for scheduled maintenance, is also blocked due to this incident. There are NO known hazardous chemicals on this train and no injuries were reported.
