Fairfield Police Seeks Volunteers for V.I.P.S. Program
Looking for a meaningful and rewarding way to contribute to your community? On the heels of Random Acts of Kindness Week and in preparation for the upcoming Citizens’ Academy, the Fairfield Police Department is actively seeking volunteers from the community to join the FFPD VIPS family!
Volunteers In Police Service serve as community ambassadors and/or liaisons between officers and the communities they serve. They represent their communities in all aspects of Department-related functions.
Police volunteers (VIPS) contribute their time and talents to support the goals and mission of the Fairfield Police Department, while developing and strengthening community partnerships.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- City of Fairfield 4th of July Parade
- Back-2-School Backpack Giveaways
- National Night Out
- Homeless Outreach Partnership and Engagement Resource Fair
- Special Olympics LETR
- Crime Analyst Support
- Investigations Administrative Support
- Crime Prevention Support
- And so much more!
