The North Aurora Police Department, in partnership with our very own Kane County State’s Attorney, Jamie Mosser, Mayor Mark Gaffino, and Detective Richard Wistocki, invites all adults to a FREE presentation on Youth and Technology, Social Media and Online Gaming. Learn how to avoid the dangers of social media and the importance of parental control.

The presentation is TONIGHT February 16th from 6pm-7:30pm at Jewel Middle School, 1501 Waterford Rd. in North Aurora.

The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live https://fb.me/e/2kxyTPgfm or go to our page https://www.facebook.com/NorthAuroraPolice but it WILL NOT be available for viewing afterwards. The only way to see the presentation is to be there in person or view it in real time on Facebook Live.

Detective Wistocki (retired) spent over two decades investigating online crimes and has dedicated his career to helping children by tirelessly pursuing, apprehending, and prosecuting child predators. He also educates law enforcement using cutting edge investigative techniques and Parents and Students on responsible digital activity.

This presentation is open to any adult, whether they are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or just someone who wants to learn more and no matter where they live.

We'll bet that even the most informed people out there will learn something or have their eyes opened a bit and Detective Wistocki is an excellent speaker, so you won't be disappointed!
