* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Alabama and northeast Alabama, including the following counties, in north central Alabama, Cullman and Morgan. In northeast Alabama, Jackson and Marshall.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. A number of roads remain closed due to flooding in Marshall County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1255 AM CST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cullman, Scottsboro, Guntersville, Arab, Hanceville, Good Hope, Hollywood, Grant, Holly Pond, Section, Pisgah, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont, Baileyton, Eva, Dutton, Langston, Colony and Union Grove. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
